Hosted by Nick Onken, this session is targeted towards aspiring photographers and students and will feature speakers such as Art Director Chris Duggan (DDB), Photo Rep Jennifer Perlmutter (Greenhouse Reps) and Producer Tim Willis (Lockbox Productions).  These speakers will be sharing their unique perspectives of working with photographers, what they like, don't like, and things they've learned along the way, etc. The session will also feature insight from Nick Onken’s right-hand man and digital tech, Jeff Holt, who will be providing invaluable insight on how he started out in the industry and began learning the ropes as an apprentice.

Chris Duggan Art Director, DDB
Educated as an illustrator at Pratt Institute, Chris now professionally lives on the visual side of the advertising business and has been designing and art directing for over 15 years. His experience includes brand identity, TV, print, interactive, direct and even more at McCann Erickson, CDMiConnect, and DDB Worldwide, Saatchi, Y&R, and Ogilvy. Chris has created work for GM, Genentech, US Airways, Sprint, Exxon/Mobil, and Microsoft among others, landing several awards including The Caples, Echo and Target, as well as a feature in AdAge magazine.

Jennifer Perlmutter Rep, Greenhouse Reps
Graduating from Emerson College with a Bachelor of Science and Speech in Marketing Communications with a minor in photography and visual arts, Jennifer knew right away she wanted to use her skills to promote the arts so when given a PR internship at mPRM for independent film in LA she moved and began career.  She realized quite quickly that photography, not film, was still her main passion prompting her to leave the PR world and land a position representing well-known car photographer, Bob Stevens.  After 2 years of learning the rep ropes from him she moved to New York to work at Greenhouse Reps where she works to manage up to 23 advertising photographers from around the world organizing portfolio reviews, promoting both talent and the agency as well as negotiating new business projects.

Tim Willis Producer, Lockbox Productions
Tim Willis attended NYU Film School later becoming a still photography Producer and Art Buyer based between New York, Miami and Los Angeles. The company that he helped to create in 2005, Lockbox Productions, has an outstanding reputation as one of the top advertising production businesses in the world including clients such as Reebok, AT&T, Mastercard, Nike, H&M, Timberland, Macy’s, Coca-Cola, General Motors, Puma, DDB, Publicis, Weiden + Kennedy, McCann Erickson, Grey Healthcare, Draft FCB, Lowe Worldwide and Euro RSCG.  In 2008 he co-founded Adhesive NYC, a monthly networking platform targeted at art buyers, art directors, photographers, reps, artists and clients, garnering a network of 1000 members.
